Sisters Pizza Opens "Little Sisters" In San Diego's North Park, "Twin Sister" To Follow

Sisters Pizza, a well-loved New Jersey-style pizzeria in San Diego, has officially opened its second location in the former Sicilian Thing Pizza space in North Park.

Little Sisters offers a range of dishes including signature pizzas by the slice and whole pie, meal-sized salads, soups, and unique specials. Customers can also enjoy the convenience of "Freezies," Sisters Pizza's signature 12-inch frozen pizzas. The drink offerings include a variety of beers, wines, and sodas, catering to a diverse palate.

Founded in 2019 by NJ native father-and-daughter duo William and Emily Green in honor of their late daughter and sister Kate, Sisters Pizza has built a loyal following in Hillcrest with its NYC/NJ-inspired pies and welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. The North Park expansion continues this tradition, with Emily's husband and lead pizzaiolo, Trevor Lake, heading up the kitchen.

For the next few weeks, Little Sisters will operate from 4-10pm for pizza, salads, beer, and wine. The restaurant will eventually add lunch hours and introduce a more expansive menu. Guests are welcome to dine-in (the small dining room offers 6 tables and counter seating) or carry out.

The expansion into North Park was announced last year, with the promise of not one, but two new concepts. Likened by the owners to discovering twins during pregnancy, the adjacent concept, "Twin Sister," located in the space previously occupied by Meet Cute Romantic Book Store, will not open until later this year. Twin Sister will offer additional seating and a separate liquor license, focusing on an expanded selection of beer and wine to complement the food menu mirrored from Little Sisters.

Sisters Pizza’s North Park expansion reflects the organic growth of the brand and its deep ties to the San Diego community. Owners hope to continue to expand Sisters' footprint throughout the area, bringing with it a legacy of quality food, heartfelt service, and a commitment to community engagement.

Little Sisters is now open at 4046 30th Street in San Diego's North Park. For more information, visit .
