North County San Diego's Churchill's Pub & Grille Remains Closed Following Multiple Heath Inspection Violations

Churchill’s Pub & Grille in San Diego's North County remains closed after a recent health inspection uncovered multiple violations, including a "major" vermin issue.

According to San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality records, Churchill’s Pub & Grille in San Marcos was ordered to close on Friday, February 7 following a routine inspection that cited several infractions. These included violations related to food safety certification, holding temperatures, hot and cold water, plumbing, warewashing facilities, a vermin presence listed as "major", and vermin-proofing.Ìý

The restaurant was reinspected on Tuesday, February 11 and required to remain closed due to continued violations like hot and cold water issues, "major" vermin, equipment and utensil storage, vermin proofing, cleaning items, and more.ÌýThe establishment has not announced when or if it will reopen.
Churchill’s Pub & Grille had been a staple of the local beer scene since Ivan Derezin first opened in the early 2000s.
