Zion Market, which started as a modest 3,000 square-foot store on Convoy Street, has grown significantly over the decades. Its journey through various locations in San Diego has seen it expand from its original spot to Mercury Street in 2002, and then to a larger space in a former Sears/K-Mart at 7655 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in 2013. This latest move, less than a mile from its previous site, introduces a 50,000 square-foot supermarket space, designed to cater to the growing demand for authentic Asian groceries and products.
In the lead-up to this grand opening, Zion Market has been offering a moving sale with a generous 20% off all items, providing a fantastic opportunity for customers to stock up on their favorite Korean and Asian goods. Zion Market's new grocery store will continue to offer fresh local produce, everyday essentials, a full liquor store component, an extensive range of Korean ingredients, and renovated common areas with sprawling outdoor seating and scenery. While the grocery market is ready to begin operations at the new outpost, the much-anticipated rooftop food hall will not be ready for its debut just yet.Ìý

Dubbed a "culinary village", Zion Market incoming, 25,000 square-foot food hall, designed by local talents Michael Soriano and James Denton, is set to feature a diverse selection of eateries. Expect outposts from Paris Baguette, Taiwan's Bafang Dumpling, Dot + Dough Donuts, Japan's Marugame Udon, and China's Shoo Loong Kan Hot Pot, among others. The food hall, complete with a speakeasy-style cocktail bar, is expected to launch later this year, enhancing the market's appeal as a culinary destination.

This demonstrates Zion Market's commitment to growth and serving the Asian community across different regions. The company currently operates seven stores, with branches around California, as well as Lewisville, TX and Duluth, GA.Ìý
