The new Pacific Beach café offers the same creative menu that has made Spill the Beans a beloved destination for locals. Guests can enjoy fresh-roasted coffee from San Diego’s Dropkick Coffee, alongside the concept’s signature "California-style" bagels. Crafted by Chef Karina Orozco, these bagels are made with five simple ingredients, boiled in agave syrup for a unique texture, and come in innovative flavors like Sundried Tomato & Cheese and Bacon & White Cheddar.
Complementing the bagels are a variety of artisanal butters and cream cheeses, including inventive options like White Truffle & Parmesan and Bananas Foster. Vegan cream cheese is also now available, debuting at this new location.
In addition to bagels, the menu features hearty breakfast sandwiches, like the San Diego with over-medium eggs, peppered bacon, and cayenne aioli, as well as avocado toast, chia bowls, and lunch offerings like the B.B.L.(t) sandwich with garlic aioli. For drinks, patrons can enjoy classic coffee beverages, handcrafted lattes, blaze energy drinks, and teas.
Located in the historic Dunaway Building, which previously housed Our Green Affair, the 2,000-square-foot café features a welcoming indoor seating area and is open from 7am to 3pm daily. This expansion follows the success of other Spill the Beans locations in the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, and Mission Valley, with a fifth location planned for Ocean Beach.
