The La Jolla Food Hall seeks to provide a culinary destination that combines La Jolla's distinctive character with a variety of dining options, all housed in a single location. The project is led by local developer David Rudolph and his family, who own the building.Ìý

The 7,800-square-foot mid-century former US Bank building has long been a prominent feature of the Girard Avenue corridor in La Jolla Village. Plans are in motion to repurpose the space into a food hall with seven distinct spaces, each ranging between 600 to 1,000 square feet, along with welcoming outdoor dining areas. The goal is to provide a mix of local and regional culinary concepts that reflect La Jolla's upscale yet approachable vibe. Ownership is also considering converting the old bank vault to become a speakeasy.Ìý
"We’re in the early stages, with city approvals in place and permitting underway," explained David Rudolph, the leasing agent and driving force behind the redevelopment. "We anticipate starting to sign on eateries early next year and aim to open by late 2025."

With a prime location in the heart of La Jolla and flexible space sizes, the La Jolla Food Hall presents an exciting opportunity for restaurateurs and food entrepreneurs. Rudolph is actively seeking tenants who will bring innovative and diverse dining options to the space. Those interested can contact David at [email protected].

La Jolla Food Hall aims to open in late 2025 at 7733 Girard Avenue in La Jolla. For more information, visit . Ìý
