With Consortium Holdings' usual holiday venue closed for the season due to a liquor license suspension, the hospitality group turned its creative energy to the Lafayette. The 139-room hotel has been decked out with holiday décor that rivals any winter wonderland. The entrance welcomes guests with a grand display: a massive wreath adorns the façade, and its four prominent pillars are wrapped in shimmering lights, creating a magical first impression.
Inside, the hotel's posh lobby bar and café are brimming with holiday cheer. Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes encircle the central bar and are even suspended from the ceiling, adding a whimsical touch to the elegant ambiance. Sparkling garlands drape above the pool area and throughout the lobby, along with massive Christmas ornaments, creating a cohesive festive theme that exudes holiday warmth.
Expect the hotel to further embrace theÌýspirit of the season through its food and beverage offerings. In addition to holiday-themed cocktails, onsite restaurants will be offering special dishes.ÌýThrough New Year's Eve, Beginner's Diner is offering a holiday plate featuring slow-roasted turkey breast, braised turkey thigh, brown butter sage sweet potato puree, rye bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and a Parker house roll. The lobby bar will also offer a starting on December 2, which includes a selection of teas and a tower of dainty sandwiches, fresh baked scones, and other holiday-inspired sweets.
