One of San Francisco's top pizza makers, Tony Gemignani is opening up to four locations of his Slice House pizzeria concept around San Diego.
Slice House originated in San Francisco's vibrant North Beach neighborhood under the name Tony's Coal Fired Pizza. Before that, 13 time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani distinguished himself as the chef and proprietor of the esteemed eatery Tony's Pizza Napoletana. Gemignani also operates three locations of Pizza Rock restaurant in Las Vegas.
Following the official introduction of franchise opportunities in July 2022, Slice House has been undergoing exponential expansion, with 10 franchised locations open and more than 100 branches in development across various regions including the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Texas, Utah, and Colorado. As part of the company's aggressive growth, multiple outlets of Slice House are in the works for America's Finest City.
Up to four locations of Slice House byÌýTony Gemignani are in the works for San Diego County, including in La Jolla and on the base floor of the new 2100 Kettner mixed-use building in Little Italy. Like other locations, expect the restaurants to serve a menu ofÌýNew York, Sicilian, Grandma, Detroit, and California style pizzas by the slice and whole pie, along with house made pasta, seasonal salads, meatball subs, desserts and more.Ìý
