June 14, 2020

San Diego's ever expanding Consortium Holdings hospitality group (Born & Raised, Raised by Wolves, Morning Glory) is in the process of renovating the Soda & Swine location in North Park to become Fortunate Son, a modern Chinese restaurant.

Last year, Consortium Holdings closed the original location of Soda & Swine, which opened in North Park in February 2013, and reopened it in early summer with a refreshed Italian-American-centered menu. The flagship location of the Soda & Swine concept originally launched with a menu based around an eclectic array of meatballs designed by corporate executive chef and partner Jason McCleod. A second outpost debuted in Liberty Station in July 2015 with a in the space long occupied by Porter's Pub.

Soda & Swine North Park is currently undergoing an interior remodel by CH's new interior design specialist Taylor League.
